Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds lashed parts of the city on Thursday night bringing down trees and electric poles. More than 60 trees were uprooted in Hanumanthanagar due to heavy rains last night. Traffic also came to a standstill on the double road flyover in Shanthinagar. According to reports, people broke the median to take diversions.
