Rashid gave the bike to one of his employees to run an errand. As the employee, Mrudul, reached near Sony signal in Koramangala, the thieves caught up with him, told him that the bike’s loan was due and they had come from the company to take it back. Even before the fact of the matter could be verified, the men had ridden off with the bike. Asif is a resident of Murugeshpalya and runs his bakery near his house. He said that he had purchased the bike about six months back, from his friend, Ashok, and on June 6, he had gone to Mangaluru.
